CQC registered clinicReports within 4 to 5 working daysOn-site, clinic and remote delivery

CQC registration means your workforce is supported by a regulated clinic, while HSE compliant surveillance helps you act on the risks identified in your workplace. Assessments can take place on site, in clinic or remotely, with clear reports normally issued within 4 to 5 working days.

When businesses call BioFit

Know when your people are safe and fit to work.

You may have someone returning after illness, repeated absence that is becoming difficult to manage, or a team exposed to noise, dust, vibration or chemicals. Perhaps a driver, FLT operator or safety-critical worker needs medical clearance. BioFit helps you understand the right assessment and what to do next.

03

Book the employee appointment.

Meet on site, in clinic, by phone or by video.

04

Receive a clear outcome.

Use the report to make a fair, informed decision.

Delivery in practice

Health surveillance shaped around your workforce.

When a 28-person food-production employer needed one clear route through night work, driving, FLT, COSHH, hearing, HAVS and counselling support, BioFit brought the requirements into a single tailored proposal. It was designed around shifts and workplace risks, with no site visit fees or annual management charges.

Discuss your workforce
For employees

What will your employer see?

If your employer refers you, we explain the assessment and ask for your consent before it begins. Your health information is protected under GDPR, and your employer normally receives the fitness outcome, relevant restrictions and workplace recommendations, not your full clinical details. Next, your clinician will explain the report process and arrange the appropriate assessment.

Every Patient Matters.

We give HR managers and employers direct access to a clinical team that explains occupational health in plain English. We shape each assessment around the worker, the role and the decision you need to make, rather than forcing every case through the same process. You receive personal accountability from referral through to report.

Common questions

Occupational health questions, answered clearly.

What is occupational health?

Occupational health helps employers understand how work affects health and how health affects someone’s ability to work safely. It includes assessments, health surveillance, medicals and practical advice about fitness, adjustments and returning to work.

Can an employee refuse an occupational health referral?

Yes. An employee must give informed consent before an assessment begins. If they decline, BioFit tells the employer only that consent was not given, and the employer decides what to do using the information available.

Will my employer see my occupational health report?

You are told what will be shared and can usually see a management referral report first. Your employer receives relevant fitness advice, restrictions and workplace recommendations, not your complete medical history.

How quickly can you arrange an occupational health assessment in Essex?

Urgent management referrals are normally seen within three working days and routine referrals within ten. Timing for workforce programmes depends on employee numbers, location and the assessments required.
