A better starting point.
Tessa begins with the people, the occasion and what everyone needs from the time away. The place comes after that.

Certainty books the trip.
Every recommendation comes with the practical detail needed to decide confidently.
Any applicable ATOL, supplier protection and payment terms are identified before booking—not hidden in the footer.

You know who to contact before departure and which provider supports each element while you are away.
What does this trip
need to give you?
You do not need a destination, hotel shortlist or finished brief. A feeling and a few practical boundaries are enough.
Fifteen years
inside travel.
One new reason.
I spent fifteen years working behind holidays: airline operations, tour programmes and the spreadsheets that make complicated journeys look effortless. I knew routes, seasons and booking systems. I thought that was the valuable part.
Then, after a demanding year for our family, I planned a trip to Japan with my husband, our two children and my newly retired parents. Six people wanted six different holidays. Mum worried about the walking. Dad wanted to see everything. The children needed space. We needed time together without managing everyone every minute.
The trip worked because I stopped asking, “Where should we go?” and started asking what each person needed. We came home closer, and I came home knowing what I wanted my work to become.
Tessa Rowan Travel began at my kitchen table. I still use all the operational experience, but now it serves a more human purpose: making the time people have together feel like theirs.
Six people.
One shared story.
The most valuable details are often invisible: the sensible arrival time, the room near the lift, the restaurant that welcomes children and the unplanned afternoon that stays free.
Someone has already
thought about it.

What they remember
after they unpack.
“For once, I wasn’t carrying the holiday in my head before we even left.”
Sarah and Tom · Greek island anniversary · Fictional feedback“My parents felt considered, the children felt free and we all came home talking about the same dinner.”

Better deciding.
Personal service should remove work, not create another project for the traveller to manage.
